Greg Hall is a world famous geologist who ever worked as Chief Geologist for Placer Dome. Mr. Hall has more than 10 years working experience in China.

In 1979, when he was only 29 years old, he came to China on behalf a member of an Australia government delegation and visited a lot of mines and cities in mainland [Click to see CSR, February 1980]. Mr. Hall has a lot of friends in the world, especially in China he has friends from university, academic institute, enterprises, government agencies etc.

Mr. Hall loves China and Chinese people. He believes that people from big country have big heart. He spends quite time in China to train geologists from mining companies, universities and institute for free every year. I met Greg Hall when I was working in Baguamiao gold project in Shaanxi Province for Placerdome in 2001. Thereafter we become good friends, and he always act as a nice uncle to teach me whatever he can teach. My parents said Greg is a very nice guy!

霍古林先生是一个国际知名的地质学家，他曾经在普拉赛尔.多姆公司担任全球总地质师。霍古林先生在中国已经积累了10年以上工作经验。

1979年在他仅29岁的时候，老霍作为澳大利亚官方代表团的成员来到中国大陆，走访了很多矿山和大城市[点击观看CSR在1980年关于此活动的信息发布]。霍古林在全球有很多朋友，尤其是在中国结交了许多来自大学、研究所、企业和政府部门的朋友。

老霍热爱中国和中国人，他坚信一个来自疆域辽阔的国家的人一定具有宽广的胸怀！老霍每年都要花费很多时间来中国，到不同的大学、矿业公司和研究所去免费培训中国的地质师。我2001年和霍古林先生认识，那时我也在普拉赛尔.多姆公司的陕西八卦庙项目工作。自此之后，我们成了好朋友。他总是像一个慈祥的叔叔来从各个方面给我带来启发和教育。我爸爸妈妈说老霍是一个好人！
